A preview for my illustrated storybook, Princesse Pivoine (Princess Peony/Botan Hime) which was released in March, published by nobi nobi!

:bulletpink: Summary (translation):
Long ago in Feudal Japan, lovely Princess Aya prepares for an arranged wedding desired by her father. One evening, as she strolls through the beds of peonies--her favorite flowers--she is saved from a certain fall by a finest of samurai. But as if by magic, he vanishes as quickly as he appeared. Who could be this mysterious young man? Through the story's spirituality and commitment to nature, Princess Peony is told in the purest tradition of Japanese folktales.

I worked on this book for roughly a year--it wasn't easy, but I learned so much throughout the process, so many thanks to Pierre-Alain and Olivier for being there every step of the way to make sure this book was the best it could be!

For more info, be sure to check the nobi nobi! official website and follow them on facebook to keep up with latest news:

Note: No plans for an English release at the moment, but the English version of the story is available online for those who want to follow along with the illustrations.

Please, tell me, where can I buy this book? I live in Poland, and I don't understand a word of French, but my niece was living in French-speaking part of Switzerland most of her life, and I want to buy it for a gift, since it's my favourite fairytale ever.

Do you know where I can find this book in hardcover, like what is shown here? I don't like to buy books in paperback if I can help it because it makes them seem cheaper :( And with art work this beautiful I'd really prefer to have it in hardcover so that it might last longer :)

Oops, sorry for the late reply (that might be an understatement...)

This book (as with all books published by nobi nobi) is only available in hardcover so no worries. If you manage to get a copy through amazon.fr or such, it'll be hardcover!
